Q      How much will the operation of my TurboKOOL unit increase the power requirements of my RV?

 A      Your TurboKOOL is one of the least power-hungry cooling units on the market, operating with a current draw of 4.6 amps when set at the highest speed or just pennies per day even on the hottest day. This is why a solar panel and 12-volt battery can so easily handle it. 

Q      Will my TurboKOOL damage or warp my roof or cause it to leak?

A      With a gross weight of only sixteen pounds plus the weight of the water in the reservoir, your TurboKOOL is among the lightest cooling units available and therefore will definitely not cause any weight damage, warpage or leaks in the roof of any properly  maintained R.V. roof or frame. 

Q      How hard will it be to install my new TurboKOOL?

A      Since your new TurboKOOL is designed to replace a standard RV roof vent all it will require to install it will be to remove the existing roof vent, set the TurboKOOL in it's place seal it, connect the tubing and electric wires, put water in the reservoir and turn it on and relax in your now cool and very comfortable RV. (Refer to your "TurboKOOL Installation Instructions" sheets as supplied with your new unit.)

Q      Does my new TurboKOOL have to be removed for cleaning and or maintenance to keep it running efficiently?

A      No! all maintenance and cleaning can be performed without removing your TurboKOOL unit from your RV with only minor disassembly in place to follow the instructions to clean the reservoir to remove any dust etc. that will accumulate over time, and drain the water for winter preparation. (Refer to your "TurboKOOL Installation Instructions" as supplied with your new TurboKOOL unit.) 

Q      What about TurboKOOL roof clearance, how much will it add to the height of my RV?

A      Since your TurboKOOL is only 11.5" inches tall, it should not cause any height problems when installed on most RVs in use here in North America. Raising the overall height of your RV by such a minimal amount should still allow it to ride under virtually every "low bridge" you may encounter on the road. 

Q       Does my TurboKOOL have to be removed to travel?

A       No, your TurboKOOL can easily stay in place while traveling. All that is necessary to prepare the unit to travel is to turn off the water to the TurboKOOL and drain at least some of the water from the reservoir to keep it from splashing over onto things below, and that's it. (Refer to your "TurboKOOL Installation Instructions" as supplied with your new TurboKOOL unit.)

Q       What about TurboKOOL Warranties? How long are they warranted to last?

A       All new TurboKOOL evaporative coolers are warranted to be free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of their original purchase. (As stated in the warranty package and on the Warranty Page herein.) 

Q       How will my TurboKOOL be shipped?

A       Your new TurboKOOL unit will be shipped via UPS Ground  and any parts and accessories ordered will be shipped via US Postal Service or UPS Ground  FOB the factory in Nevada and the shipping costs will be added onto the purchase price at the time of shipment.

Q       What about duty and taxes on TurboKOOLs coming into Canada?

A       Duty, taxes and exchange on TurboKOOLs entering Canada will be paid at the border by the carrier and collected from the consignee at time of delivery.

Q       How do I file a warranty claim if I ever have to?

A       First of all, it is highly unlikely that you will ever have cause to file a warranty claim, but if you do, the first thing to do is to contact the factory in Nevada and explain your problem and they will try to help you.  But if the trouble still persists they will issue a return authorization and give you instructions on what to do from there. By all means do not worry! All TurboKOOL products are solidly warranted and your claim will definitely be looked after with the utmost dispatch!
